About this campground

Rabbit Valley is in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area in western Colorado, near I-70, Fruita, and Grand Junction. It offers camping, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and off-roading. Reservations are required for all camping.

  • From I-70, take exit 2 south to the BLM kiosk
  • Roads can be narrow, rough, and unmaintained
  • Knowles Overlook may require 4WD and high clearance
  • Trail Through Time features dinosaur bones
